The V.I. Image Gallery Banner

his is a collection of images of the Victoria Institution. All kinds of images - of the premises, of Victorians engaged in various activities and of historic events. Most are photographs gleaned from various sources - school publications, several private collections and the National Archives. But the images are not only just photographic. Captured here are also other kinds of images - from oil paintings, line drawings, in particular, cartoons - which are the creative products of Victorians about Victorians and other subjects.

Most of the image files are kept large to maximize their detail - after all, this is a gallery. So they are listed under various categories on a separate menu below for individual selection. If you have an image that you would like to contribute, do contact us.
