Lee Kok Pheng (left) and Lim Shook Kong practically swept all the major
schoolboys' titles in the State and country between them. First, Kok Pheng
won the Selangor Restricted State Championship. Then Shook Kong became the
Selangor Schoolboys' Singles title while Kok Pheng was runner-up. The pair then
teamed up to win the Doubles title. They both represented Selangor in the Malaysian
Schoolboys' Champions, with Kok Pheng emerging champion and Shook Kong
runner-up. In the doubles, they emerged runners-up. They then anchored the
Selangor team to win the Heah Joo Seang Cup from Penang (1970).
